Billy Barlia
I like to build things. I currently work on the operations team at Beemok Capital, a private investment firm, where I support portfolio businesses and philanthropic initiatives. My role focuses on creating clearer systems and more effective operations, and it gives me the opportunity to work across both established organizations and new projects built from the ground up.
On any given day, my work may include data and financial analysis, workflow automation, building presentations, or standing up internal tools that teams actually use. I am especially drawn to work that sits at the intersection of process, technology, and decision making.
Outside of work, I apply the same skills in communities that matter to me. I help organize Outsiders Fitness, where I have focused on modernizing operations to support growth and strengthen the member experience. I also serve on the Young Alumni Council for the College of Charleston Business School, working on ways to better engage young alumni.
I enjoy learning and experimenting with new tools at the edge of technology. I currently live in Charleston, South Carolina, and grew up in Washington, DC.
